Terms of Service for Independent Technicians

1. Introduction

Welcome to SURIC ELECTRICALS CONTRACTORS LTD.We are a registered electrical wiring and solar installation company dedicated to ensuring high standards of electrical work. We invite qualified independent technicians to collaborate with us, benefiting from our licenses, expertise,and support to secure and execute significant wiring installation contracts.

2. Independent Technicians' Role and Responsibilities

• Independent Status: Technicians will work independently, sourcing their own jobs while being affiliated with our company.
• Adherence to Standards: All work must comply with industry standards and our company’s guidelines to ensure quality and safety.
• Documentation: Technicians are responsible for generating essential work progress documents,such as work commencement notes and completion certificates, with our support.
• Documentation: Technicians agree to allow our company to supervise and inspect all projects to ensure adherence to standards

3. Company Support and Benefits

• Licensing and Expertise: Technicians will operate under our company’s licenses, allowing them to secure larger and more lucrative contracts.
• Documentation Assistance: We will assist in generating necessary work progress documentation,ensuring compliance and professionalism.
• Contract Facilitation: :We will help technician’s secure big contracts under our company's name, enhancing the irreputation and opportunities.
• SupervisionandInspection: Our supervision and inspection services ensure that all projects meet the highest standards,there by boosting the technician’s credibility and client satisfaction.

4. Fees and Payment Structure

• Registration Fee of 1500: A registration fee is required for each technician to be added into our company system. Upon payment,the technician will receive a staff number and job ID card verifiable on our websystem by clients.
• Monthly Commitment Fee of 200/=: Each technician will pay a monthly fee to our comapny for the facilitation of our engagement and support services.
• Revenue Sharing:Our company will take 20% from all works secured by the independent technicians under our company name and license. This percentage is to facilitate supervision, inspection,and documentation processing.

5. Payment Terms.

• The registration fee is due upon signing this agreement and is a one-time payment.
• The monthly commitment fee is due on the first of each month.
• For all works secured under our company name and license, our company will take 20% of the total pay ment as agreed upon by both parties.

6. Compliance and Accountability

• Technicians must comply with all industry regulations and our company’s standards.
• Technicians are responsible for their actions and any liabilities arising from their work.

7. Termination of Agreement

• Either party may terminate this agreement with a 30-day written notice.
• Our company reserves the right to terminate this agreement immediately incase of gross violation of company or industry standards, terms of this agreement,or gross misconduct implicating the company
• Termination does not absolve the technician of any outstanding fees or responsibilities for ongoing projects

8. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved through mediation or arbitration as agreed upon by both parties.

9. Amendments

• This agreement may be amended only in writing,with mutual consent from both parties.

10. Governing Law

• This agreement is governed by the laws of Kenya, specifically:
1. The Kenya Engineering Technology Act, 2016
2. The Energy Act, 2019
3. The Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2007
4. The Electrical Power (Wiring), 2012
